I have been chasing down a slight hydraulic fluid leak on the Cessna. Fluid is seeping out of an inspection plate on the belly. This is a new thing. So it was pulling inspection panels and looking around inside as best I could. The only source of hydraulic fluid in the airplane is the brake system, so I decided to have a real good look at it. In order to facilitate the inspection, I used Bloke's electronic borescope. It took a little finagling to get it wo work with my computer, but at last it was ready for prime time. I inspected the master cylinders and all the lines coming from them. They were dry as a bone. To complicate matters, the area where the fluid was accumulating was not downhill from the cylinders. I am at a loss to find the source. My conclusion is that I must have spilled some fluid at some time elsewhere and it finally found its way out. Today's photo is from the borescope looking at one of the fittings.
