The saga of the goofed up static system in the Cessna made a big step forward. I had the airspeed, altimeter, rate of climb and the altitude encoder overhauled and certified. All it takes is money. I left the instrument shop $1045 poorer. I decided to assemble the whole system on the bench and test it out. To my great pleasure, the system was tight and now it is time to put it into the airplane. That is much easier said than done. It took well over three hours to do it, but when the installation was finished and checked in the airplane, it was tight. During the course of the adventure I managed to scratch the heck out of my right hand. A lot of sharp spots are hidden under the panel. I am glad this part of the adventure is over.
