And so we are off on another trip, this one a short visit to Alpharetta for early Christmas with Robert and family and dinner with David on the way back. Ginny makes it a tradition to take a photo of the Hartman Bridge in Baytown when we head out to the east. Our day was to get to a hotel in Tuscaloosa where we will spend the night. The trip went well. The usual slow down going over the Mississippi River Bridge on Baton Rouge wasn't there. We breezed over. Our usual gas stop going this way is in Slidell, LA. We ended up at the hotel after dark, which is hard to avoid this time of year. Today was an easy drive, thankfully.
