We headed back to Houston today so that we could arrive in time for a party the neighbors across the street were throwing. It was a "bring your Thanksgiving leftovers" pot luck. It is interesting that we met some neighbors we had never met before, even though they weren't new to the neighborhood. Funny how that goes. We have been here almost 40 years. I guess we don't get out much.

Anyway, the highlight of the evening was axe throwing. Delaney had built an axe target and set it up in the back yard. Everybody had a go at it. It is hard to get it to stick. It has to make exactly one revolution. Ginny got it several times, including a bull's eye.
