We had a great time with our friends Lynn and Doug last night. This morning we headed out to visit the Gateway Arch - AGAIN. So why did we need to visit it again? Ask Ginny. We needed to get a photo with the National Park sign because the last time we visited it wasn't a national park. So this makes 51 (of 61) National Parks we have visited. We spent some time going through the brand new museum. It was well done. Decided not to go to the top because we did it last time and once is enough. You might notice that the ground looks pretty barren. Understandably so since a couple weeks before the sign was under water.
In the afternoon we went to the Soldier's Memorial which was very interesting. We got fortunate because there was a docent around in a couple exhibits to provide a lot of additional information and context.
