This was our last day in Isle Royale National Park. We have had a great experience. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lots of hiking and lots of stuff to see. Our trip back to Copper Harbor on the boat departed at 2:45 so we decided to take one more hike out to Susie's cave. Along the way we got lucky and saw a moose fairly close up. It walked across the path about 50 feet in front of us then disappeared into the forest. Unfortunately, no time to get a photo.
Like our trip out, our trip back was mostly in the fog. It was sunny when we got back to Copper Harbor. We had a quick drive to Houghton where we spent the night.
Today's photo is Ginny at the entrance to Susie's Cave.
