Today was the first of three days we visited Pearl Harbor. There are four major things to see there: the Arizona memorial, USS Bowfin submarine, Battleship Missouri and the Pacific Aviation Museum. We did them all. Today it was the Arizona and the Bowfin. Unfortunately, the Arizona Memorial is under repair so we couldn't get onboard. We did get a trip out to the memorial as well as to the USS Missouri in a Navy launch. The USS Bowfin was very well preserved. All the brass was gleaming throughout the ship.
In the evening we took a dinner cruise offshore of Waikiki. The food was good and they played a tune we requested so we had a dance. The boat was in position after dark to get a good view of the fireworks that the Hilton presents every Friday night.
Today's photo is of Ginny doing something she really likes: line dancing. When the music started she bolted for the dance floor and started to dance.
