As you know, we live in Houston. We have been in this house for 39 years and I have to say that Houston is really my home despite being born and raised elsewhere. I was looking at some news items today and noted that there is still a lot of snow up there in the north. I spent the first 26 years of my life dealing with snow and I don't miss it one bit. Ginny makes the point that if we really have an insatiable urge to be in the snow, we can always fly up north and have a look. Even though it happens to be quite chilly here today (40 F), the azaleas are blooming and they look great. There are lots of green buds on the trees and there are quite a few flowering fruit trees. This is a nice place to be. I am not saying that it is any better than any other place, but it is just right for me.
