Today was a driving day. We hoped to spend the night in Covington, LA, and have dinner with our son Dave. That didn't work out, but we did stop and see him for a while. He is into a house flipping project which will be good experience for him. He showed us around the place which is still in the early stages of remodeling. When he is finished it will be a very nice property indeed.

Because we couldn't get together for dinner Ginny and I decided to just head out for home. It is a little over 6 hours including stops. Two hours of that was in the dark, which we try to avoid. In the end, we were thankful we made the drive. There was cold beer in the refrigerator, the peasants rejoiced and peace returned to the realm.
