Day Twenty Eight
Today we drove out to Pinnacles National Park. This was the 40th National Park we have visited. There are 59 National Parks, so we have a bunch more to visit. Pinnacles is not very big. It was also not very crowded. We took a hike through an unusual cave that was formed by giant bolders falling into a ravine. I found that interesting, but I am easily amused.
We finished the hike then decided to hit it back to Carmel and have a go at the 17 mile drive. That is through Pebble Beach. It includes some golf courses. Some people would find that exciting, but we just found it a little bit picturesque because we don't play golf. The way this works is that as a non-resident you get to pay $10.50 for the privilege of making the drive. One bit that was nice was the lone cypress tree which is iconic. The light was pretty good and we got some nice photos. One of which is today's selection.
