Day Nine

It was about a three hour drive to our next stop, Anacortes, WA, for a weekend with our friends Steve and Ellen. These people relocated from Houston about 18 years ago and they really love it. Their house is on a hill and they have a great view of the mountains, including Mt. Baker. The day's activities are easy to summarize: talk, drink beer, eat dinner, drink beer, drink scotch. Pretty darned good.
