Day two of our trip took us from Amarillo to Blanding, Utah. we have stayed here twice before. It was a long day, about 600 miles. Heading west from Amarillo, we started slowly to get into the scenery that we like. More rocks. Not all of them red, but Agent Listorama can sympathize with the feeling of approaching sandstone Nirvana. We made a quick stop in Farmington for some dinner supplies then headed north through a corner of Colorado and finally into Utah. As we were driving along there was some neat light on the rocks, so we made a stop and took some pictures. Formations like this confirm we are in the area we like to visit and photograph. After a night in Blanding it is on to Capitol Reef.
