Today we headed out for a seven week road trip out west. The main objectives are a family wedding and Ginny's 50th high school reunion. The first two days are long road days. Our real fun will start out in Southern Utah at Capitol Reef National Park. Our first night is in Amarillo which is about 625 miles from home.

Ever since the water disaster of 2016, we are much more careful about water in the house. Ginny has a travel departure checklist. The last item is "Turn off the water." That I did and I took a photo of the valve so that when we are 50 miles down the road and I wonder if I turned the water off, I have proof.
