We visited the American Revolution Museum in Yorktown today. It has been newly completed and it is very good. Outside of the museum is a display of encampment for two companies of soldiers of the time and a farm that would have been typical of Revolutionary War times. We spent the whole day there. Although located at Yorktown, the site of the surrender of Cornwallis and the end of the revolution, the museum is about the whole of the Revolution and the times leading up to it. In today's photo General Washington is consulting with Ginny about logistical plans for the upcoming campaign. Amateurs talk about tactics, but professionals study logistics.
