Why do I hate Apple? They are a collection of low life snobs bent on making my life miserable. The latest edition of Apple snobbery is that in the IOS 11 update, they changed their format for images to .heic from .jpg Big Deal? Heck yes. If you don't have an apple product you can't view the photos. There is no support from Microsoft or from Adobe. I routinely transfer photos from my iPhone to my PC, but that is now in the toilet. The only reason I got an iPhone as opposed to other devices was that my kids have iPhones and I didn't want compatibility problems. These guys are certifiable B@$t@rd$.

UPDATE
I checked out what Rob sent. If you go to settings>camera>formats you can select Most Compatible which gives you jpgs. As Roseanne Rosanadana (Gilda Radner) would say "never mind."
