It was a great day all around. The weather here in Las Cruces was excellent. We spent the morning at the farmer's market downtown. Lots of stuff to see. There are three small museums down there. We checked them out. We then went to Mesilla Plaza, but there wasn't anything going on. Back at the hotel we caught up on stuff and prepared for the great adventure of the day, Jeffrey and Amanda'a wedding.
The wedding was in La Mesa which is about 10 miles south of Las Cruces. It was at Amanda's home. Perfect weather and a very nice venue and preparations made it an enjoyable experience. Jeffrey is the youngest child of our great friends Karen and Paul. We met Jeffrey when he was about a week old in the cry room at St. Bernadette. Great memories. So we ate and drank and danced. The DJ played a lot of danceable music for people of our generation. A good time was had by all. Tomorrow after church we head out on the two day drive back to Houston. Life is good.
