Day 16 - Ginny and I met with our designer, Melinda. Actually, Ginny did more meeting and I hung out in the background. Melinda is a very nice lady and Ginny likes her advice. Additionally, Melinda tolerates me, which is sometimes a challenge. As mentioned before, I pretty much had an idea of what I wanted to do about three months ago. Ginny is still working on it. After the meeting today, however, she said that she is very close to getting all the selections complete. That is a good thing. Melinda really helps her get off dead center and make a decision.

We are at a lull in the project, it seems. I am anxious to get a move on. When the work on the inside of the house gets going we are going to have to vacate. In preparation for that we have lots of stuff to move. That will take some time. We will meet with the contractor in the morning and I hope to get a firm start date.
