The excitement just never ends here. Tomorrow is the annual plant sale that Ginny's garden club (Gardeners by the Bay) puts on as a fund raiser. Ginny likes gardening. Her garden reminds me of Jefferson's Monticello because it is an eternal work in progress. She has a lot of fun with it which is the most important thing.
So, here is how this goes. She spent a day digging up plants to donate to the sale. We filled the back of the van with them. Then we take them over to the church on the night before where a diligent group of club members arranges them all and prices them all. On the day of the sale, the members show up to help with the sale and, you guessed it, buy plants. Ginny has to do that in order to fill all the holes she made digging up her donations. So, she returned from the sale with a van full of replacement plants. Now she can go out into her garden and plant all the plants she just bought. See how this works? She can't wait until next year.
