We traveled on to Isafjordur. It wasn't very far. The weather was nice for a change. After checking at the information center to see about our excursion tomorrow, we headed out to Osvor. This is the location of a fishing camp which has been occupied since 940 AD. The current situation is that it is now a restoration of a 19th century fishing camp. For many years the farmers would fish in the winter time to make ends meet. Mow, here is what is interesting about this location. We had seen a film about fishing in Reykjavik. When we returned in the afternoon to Isafjordor we went to the Westfjords Heritage Museum where they had the same film. This time when we watched it we recognized that it had been shot in Osvor, the place we just visited. See, we were paying attention.
