We did a little road trip to Columbia, PA, which is just a little southwest of Lancaster. This was pretty cool. One of the things we stopped at was the National Watch and Clock Museum. They had a huge collection of watches and clocks as well as educational exhibits. I thought the exhibits of watch making tools and equipment was interesting. Such precision. I don't think I would have a steady enough hand to even assemble a simple watch. For me, though, the most interesting exhibit was this collection of 18 different clock movements. You could see very well how each escapement works. I had no idea there were so many different types. We had a great time (pun intended).
