We have been to some interesting places since we got here to Kennett Square a month ago. Today we ventured down to Nottingham, PA, for a factory tour of Herr's Snacks. It was free. You have to make a reservation, which we did. For about an hour we walked through the production facilities which Ginny and I both found very interesting. It was from incoming potatoes and corn to packaged snacks getting boxed up for shipment. The best part was at the potato chip line where our guide pulled some potato chips right off the machine and we all got a taste. That was really good. We lingered a while in the shop where you could buy all of their products. There must be 100 of them. We selected some that we like and some which we had never had before, like Old Bay seasoned cheese curls. Now we have some dedicated snacking to do, and Richard and Christiane will be glad to help out.
