It was an interesting day. Ginny had been agitating to check out the antiques shops and resale shops along the Baltimore Pike. So we did. It was pretty interesting, but I just don't have any interest in acquiring anything. There were some neat antique precision hand tools, but what would I do with one even if I had it. So, we left all the stuff we saw on the shelves. I think it would be hard to be a dealer. It must be hard to find stuff to sell and then you have to wait a lifetime to sell things. It is obvious to me that the items in the shops aren't exactly jumping off the shelves. On the other hand, it might be very interesting to look into the history of some things and see how the designs have changed with time (tools, cameras, etc). On the other hand, I am not going to be buying any of these items any time soon.
