Richard and Christiane have a lot of birds in their yard. Nothing like a well stocked bird feeder to attract the little critters. I decided to take out the telephoto and shoot some photos of the birds. Only one problem. Their yard is very shaded and there was just no contrast of the birds on the feeder. That was disappointing. I put the camera away then headed back into the kitchen where there is a good view of the feeder. When I looked out, there was bright sunlight on the bird bath. I ran for the camera and started blasting away. The sunlight only lasted a few minutes, and the birds weren't that cooperative, but I did get this one of a little fella after his bath.
