We messed around Bellingham for most of the day then boarded the MV Matanuska to start our voyage to Juneau. One nice thing we did was to go out to Whatcom Falls and have a little hike and view the falls. We met a fellow who was a long time resident and he told us about the area. We headed back into town and picked up our ferry tickets then headed into the Fairhaven section for a walk around. We went along the waterfront then headed back toward the shops. There wasn't too much that caught our eye. Back at the terminal we boarded the boat and checked into our stateroom. We sailed at 6:00 pm and started the four day trip to Juneau. Getting out of Bellingham we had to head south for a bit. I snapped this photo of sunlight reflections off the starboard side. I thought it looked like a diptych. Remember, easily amused.
