Occasionally you run into a photo where you have to ask yourself why, despite your best efforts, did it come out so nice. We have had lots of birthday parties over the years where we took the typical pictures of the birthday boy posing with his cake at the kitchen table. They often included the brothers who are all hovering over the cake in a posed situation that is nothing more that "sit there and let me take your picture." Well, I came across this one today of Robert at his 13th birthday in 1996. I can't remember how it happened, but It turned out to be pretty nice in my estimation. Rob is very photogenic and he would always bring something different to the situation.
