Our hotel in Auckland was at the base of the Sky Tower. We had a little time this morning before we departed for the airport and returned to the US. I was watching these guys drop from the top of the Sky Tower. This is an adrenalin sport that you can indulge in for a mere $180. You get an eleven second ride. You can see the guy falling in this one. He is suspended between two wires and is tethered to the top with a line that controls his descent rate. Not me, No way.

$16 a second, $57,600 per hour, thats expensive, I bet the only people on it were MP's on expenses.
Even if I could afford it, I dont think I would try it, just dont fancy falling out of the sky on a bit of wire.

Just watching it gives me the willies.
