We traveled to Cairns today. It is on the northeast coast of Australia. This is the location of the Great Barrier Reef. This was the view out our window at the Rydges Esplanade Hotel. It is overlooking the bay and there was some cool lighting going on. We spent most of the day getting here. It started out with a driving tour around Brisbane and a trip to Mt. Coot-tha overlook where we got a nice view of Brisbane. We flew to Cairns. We did a lot of flying on this trip. It is a really big country!
