We have arrived in Australia and are staying at the Twin Waters Resort near Maroochydore, Queensland. We did a bit of hiking around and ended up on the beach. It was very windy and there was a high surf, so swimming wasn't allowed. We had a chance to talk with a very "unbusy" lifeguard for about an hour. This bloke really looks like a lifeguard, in my estimation. He was very interesting and said he had been at it for quite a while.
