Today was a big day. We headed out to the Olympic National Park in the motorhome. Ginny has never had a ride in it. I have always driven it to where we are going and she would come later. So here she is, in the First Officer's seat, as we pulled out of Hammond headed to Port Angeles. For the first hour or so, she drove me nuts. Back seat driver would be a kind way of putting it. On every turn in the road she would make a hissing sound and grab the arms of the seat with white knuckles. The kids know well the hissing sound. Finally, she calmed down and the ride was really pleasant. We had intentions of stopping a few places on the way for a little touring, but that proved impractical since with the car in tow we had a really long vehicle. We arrived at our destination and got everything squared away late in the afternoon. Life is good!
