One of our favorite meals is fried clams. We have dug up many of them, and here David and his grandfather are breading them in preparation for cooking. We use flour/egg wash/Ritz cracker crumbs and fry them in (you guessed it) butter. I figure that our esteemed president is likely to outlaw frying things in butter pretty soon. He seems bent on regulating everything in our lives. In the mean time, we will enjoy it. A cold beer goes good with clams, by the way.
