Karl got to play the paruk maker in the film by Milos Forman.
After coming from a hairdressing school in Toronto to fulfill my desire to become a hairstylist where I did my License 1973, I went for 3 month to V. S. in London for a cutting course.
There I got the offer being the Manager in Munich, without having Salon experiences, but I had business background and spoke German and English . After one year in Munich I had to go back to London for 3 month to wait and work in the Bond Street salon until we opened the Salon in Duesseldorf .
After one year being the manager again I went to school for 4 month in Duisburg and did my Master degree in Hairdressing . After this experience I opened as Manager the Hamburg salon .
Than after 1,1/2 year I was transferred to San Francisco were again I was the Manager for one Year.
Through very bad circumstances I gave up Management and
wanted to be only in the V.S. art section were I felt I was always not being right appreciated and could not blossom as a creative artist through the burden of Management.
In January 1983 I got the offer to be a part of the AMADEUS hair and Makeup department...........and my life changed so beautifully..............There I was also discovered by the director Milos Forman for this little part with Mozart and a totally new creative life started for me..........which was always my dream as a child being a Hairdresser and an Actor...........Now with 72 I do still a little bit of hair and the movie offers coming in to my great satisfying pleasure.
