Title: Der Dom zu Cöln (Cologne Cathedral)
Construction of the cathedral began in 1248 on the site of an earlier cathedral that was destroyed by fire, work ceased in 1473 with the towers incomplete. Work resumed in 1842 being completed in 1880.
