Another view of the fishing and racing schooner Bluenose taken when she visited Toronto on her return journey from the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair.
Launched in 1922 the Bluenose had a very successful fishing and racing career. Being outdated as a fishing schooner she was sold off in 1942 and used as a Freighter in the Caribbean, in 1946 she struck a reef off of Haiti and was abandoned subsequently breaking up.
