From what I can determine the ship is the Albert Leo Schlageter launched in Hamburg 1937 as a training ship for the Kriegsmarine.
She was captured by the allies at the end of WW2 and sold to Brazil in 1948 where she was renamed to Guanabara, sold to Portugal in 1961 she was renamed NRP Sagres where she remains
