It shows Leo Couture of Manitoba undergoing flight training in the BCATP in 1941
He enlisted in Winnipeg on 20 Aug 1941 and was killed in action on 21 July 1944 while piloting a Halifax from 578 Sqn RAF during a raid over Germany. He is buried in the Uden War Cemetery. He held the rank of Flt Lt.
