Hotel Carls-Rite

One from my old paper collection....
An advertising post card for the Hotel Carls-Rite circa 1920
The hotel was located in the corner of Front and Simcoe Streets in Toronto. Built in 1893 as the Grand Union Hotel the name was changed to the Hotel Carls-Rite in 1915, it was renamed the Hotel Barcley before it was demolished in the 1960's.
The site remained a parking lot until early this year when construction commenced on a new office building, 160 Front St West.

other sizes: small medium original auto
