Considering the number of cat photographs that show up in social media it is surprising how few cat portraits show up in vintage photographs.
This photograph circa 1900 has the mark Reid, Orangeville, however there is no Reid listed in the listing of Orangeville photographers. It could be by D M Reid who had a studio in nearby Shelbourne during that era.
