From what I can decipher from the note on the back of the picture this is a Patrouillenboot (patrol boat) from Austria in 1900. There is also the name Yarrow mentioned, an English company that built boats for the Austro-Hungarian empire in the 1890's
In 1900 the Austro-Hungarian empire extended to the coast of the Adriatic
