Southend

Southend is famous for its pier, 1.3 miles long, going out into the River Thames Opposite Southend is the Isle of Sheppey, between the Island and Southend is the famous WW2 shipwreck the Richard Montgomery. Which if it ever explodes might wipe out Southend and Sheerness on the IOS. Southend is in the County of Essex which has a reputation of being Rough, I can confirm that reputation from personal experience, but lots of it is very nice
