Dave, there is a 5 mph speed limit on the upper Thames. This is to protect the earth banks from being washed away, and damage to moored boats. It leads to a leisurly way of life on the water.

Based on the size of the wake, it appears to be going about as fast as a walking pace. It must be a pleasant ride.
