This is such a sad time of year.
Baby birds are so beautiful. And to watch some slowly disappearing as food for predators is absolutely heart breaking. Over a week I once watched 10 baby geese from one mother go missing until there was one left. I prayed non stop for it to survive, and something took it. I swore a lot. Life is tough for every living creature.
