S&W 686 .38, .38sp. .357 magnum

Sheerness Steel Mill

I used this pistol more than any other. It felt as though it was made just for me.
It was not, a standard gun made my S&W. I put a quality trigger spring in, polished all moving parts.
Cleaned and oiled it every time I fired it.
99% of cartridges I fired I reloaded myself. The most used bullet was a .38 lead wadcutter, with a small powder load propelling it. The cartridge was designed purely for accuracy, quite low powered.
Occasionally I shot it at 100 yards. Then the bullet used was a .357 copper jacketed head with a powerful powder load behind it.
