Yes Tom, but I would not normally put it in the Thames.
The Thames has a powerful fast current with a fair amount of rubbish floating in it.
A polythene bag floating just under the surface would wrap around the prop, and I would watch it disappear into the distance in no time.
I will stick to ponds.
