Rescuers.

The Embanlment, Putney

The Fire Brigade was here to rescue people trapped in their cars.
There was not anybody along the Embankment trapped in their car.
They asked me if I was alright and did I need any help.
Seeing as I was parked in one inch of water and the tide was going out, I declined their offer.

John, I have watched this road flood on a regular basis for at least 60 years. I am an expert at being in a safe unfloodable place. Its the others that need help. But I appreciate your concern very much. John
