Phoenicagrion sp.

While browsing the internet in search of othter photos of dragons and damsels, taken in brasil, I came across: http://geometer.org/Brazil2006/rest.html by Tom Davis. He shows to pictures clearly of the same species, identified by Dennis Paulson of UPS ( http://www.ups.edu/x6290.xml). It turns out to be: Phoenicagrion flammeum (Aeolagrion flammeum)

13-11-2010 This one stood as P. flammeum before, but specimens not collected, so I don't know which Phoenicagrion species they are. There are now at least 7 known species of Phoenicagrion, 6 described, 1 undescibed (who knows how many more).
