Aperture

   The purpose of these shots is to show how resolution is affected by aperture.  All shots were on a tripod and used ISO 100 with AF set at the middle of the tree. Note how the shutter speeds exactly follow the apertures -- unlike the vignetting test.  Interesting.

   It appears as though there's little difference in sharpness from f / 2.8 to f / 11.  At f / 16 we begin to see some degradation which worsens at f / 22 and becomes horrible by f / 32.  That's pretty impressive!
