This is day 1 to day 90 of raising Goda.
Finally, here is my thoughts about 2025
2025 was about not traveling. Something that I kept stating multiple years and finally, I stopped except for two trips to London and Nova Scotia. Raising Goda has been wonderful - He is sweet puppy. Few thoughts about the 2025
1. There was too many dog pictures with best dog portraits were from the workshop in Nova Scotia.
2. Enjoying mentoring, but glad to not grinding out grants - living on soft money is a challenge.
3. Bean continues to amaze me in his volunteer work in Hospice Inpatient unit.
4. Did not see enough sunrises - reason, potty training! Will do better in 2026
For what it is worth, I believe in science, the germ theory and good nutrition. The latter two are not mutually exclusive. As a hospice volunteer and retired physician, I mask up and immunized with appropriate vaccines. Not doing so is simply wrong. Spreading your viruses to a sick patient is wrong. You can’t control everything - there is genetics and the body is the final teacher. I also believe that compassion and empathy are not sign of weakness. We need to return to civilly and respect.
So on the publication front - considering I am retired from grant writing. It was good year mainly secondary to wonderful mentees who are prolific.
