Day 18 of my "top 20" - actually, this is one of my better photos of the year. It raises the question what is award winning photography - Per AI 1) technically good in the focus, lighting, exposure, and development; 2) Story telling - in this case young goda just experiencing his first snow fall; and 3) emotional impact. This is my favorite Goda of the year - Just an FYI - there are lot of Bronze awards in this competition so really no big deal - but for me, I do photography - to use the artistic side of brain and challenge myself to grow - so completing with my self. This is for me a cherished memory - let that oxytocin flow.
