Last but not least. Probably our favorite place in Florida. Not so much because of the birding, which is often better elsewhere, but just the whole flavor of the island. A large percentage is nature preserve. No high rises over 4 stories tall. No traffic or street lights. No chain stores or restaurants. We spent 5 days here this year. It finally warmed up a bit. Lots of ospreys. The Burrowing Owls are from Cape Coral.
