San Antonio Area-Riverwalk,Mitchell Lake Wildlife Refuge, Missions, Botanical Garden, McNay Museum

We spent several days in the San Antonio area over Easter Weekend. We were not that impressed with the Riverwalk area - mostly hotels, restaurants, and malls. The McNay museum is worth a visit, for the building and grounds as well as the art.The San Antonio Botanical garden is very nice as well. Joan - You have caught some really extraordinary birds. The painted bunting was lovely. I wished for more brilliant colors so felt sorry that you encountered overcast days and drought conditions. The wildflowers' display would have had such potential with a camera in your hands. Please keep sending me your latest pictures and tell me of any shows that have your work.
